Is the villa rented on an exclusive basis or on a per-room basis?
The Mukteshwar Bungalow is predominantly hosted as a private 3 BHK full-villa takeover for families, friend groups, and workcations, ensuring 100% exclusive privacy. During specific off-peak periods, individual suite bookings may be considered upon request.
What is the payment procedure and security deposit policy?
Reservations are confirmed with an advance deposit via direct bank transfer or UPI. A standard refundable security deposit may be collected at check-in and returned in full post-inspection at checkout.
How many guests can comfortably stay at The Mukteshwar Bungalow?
The bungalow features 3 spacious bedroom suites (The Himalayan Suite, The Imperial Suite, and The Signature Himalayan). Standard occupancy is 6 adults across the 3 king beds. With extra rollaway bedding arrangements, we can host up to 9 guests comfortably.
Is heating and continuous hot water available during winter months?
Yes. Every suite is equipped with high-output electric water geysers in private en-suite bathrooms and room heating units during chilly Kumaon winter months to ensure cozy comfort.

The property is located at Dausapani, Kasialekh Village - Chaukhuta, Tehsil - Dhari, District - Nainital, Mukteshwar, Uttarakhand - 263132. It sits on a tranquil mountain ridge overlooking the Kumaon valley, approximately 8.5 km before the main Mukteshwar temple market.
What is the road condition from Delhi / Kathgodam to the villa?
The road from Delhi/NCR via Moradabad, Rampur, Haldwani, Bhimtal/Bhowali to Kasialekh is well-paved national and state highway. The final stretch to Dausapani is a scenic, motorable hill road accessible by standard sedans, hatchbacks, and SUVs.
What is the nearest railway station and airport?
The nearest major railway station is Kathgodam (KGM), approximately 56 km away (approx. 2 hours drive). The nearest regional airport is Pantnagar Airport (PGH), approximately 88 km away. Direct mountain taxis can be arranged with prior notice.
Can we arrange an evening bonfire on the veranda terrace?
Yes, our on-site caretaker can arrange an ambient evening bonfire setup on the open veranda terrace upon request, subject to weather conditions and forest safety regulations.
Can guests use the kitchen to cook their own meals?
Yes. The villa features a fully equipped kitchen with gas hobs, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle, cookware, and tableware. Resident guests are welcome to prepare their own tea, snacks, baby food, and homestyle meals.
Are local groceries, milk, and vegetables available nearby?
Yes. Basic daily groceries, fresh dairy, mountain vegetables, and fruits are readily available in Kasialekh and Dausapani local markets within a short 5 to 10-minute drive.
Is the Wi-Fi connection stable for remote work and video meetings?
Yes. We have high-speed optical broadband Wi-Fi with reliable coverage across the living salons, veranda, and bedroom suites, backed by battery power backup.
Are pets allowed at the villa?
We consider well-behaved pets on a case-by-case basis. Please inform our concierge during your booking inquiry so we can ensure suitable accommodation arrangements.
What are the check-in and check-out timings?
Standard check-in is from 2:00 PM onwards and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to prior occupancy schedules and must be coordinated with the estate manager.
